Darwin Sailing Club conducts a dry season racing program which includes divisions for larger multihulls and off-the-beach cats. 

MANTA supports a number of Offshore Events including the Spice Islands Darwin Ambon Race, Darwin to Saumlaki Race and Rally and Darwin Dili Yacht Rally events.

Northern Territory coastal waters and north coast of Australia in general provide a rewarding cruising ground especially for multihulls with their ability to navigate in shallow water, take the ground when the tide goes out, and the speed to cope with significant tidal currents.

MANTA is committed to furthering the sport of sailing, especially multihull sailing. MANTA also provides storage facilities for junior and adult sailors. Sail training programs are run on a regular basis by the Darwin Sailing Club throughout the year.
